“ Stopped in for breakfast on our way home to Chicago from a weekend in Galena. It was an absolute pleasure! The food is simple, but effective. Basic breakfast foods made right, and with stellar service and atmosphere. Honestly couldn't understand why it was empty on a Saturday morning when it's basically the only restaurant in Elizabeth and it's THIS good! My wife and I ended up chatting with the staff about our mutual love for mid century furniture and headed home on such a high note ”

“ What a great little place. Stopped in on the way back home to Chicago. First and foremost, great hot sandwiches. Don’t sleep on the Reuben! It’s fantastic. The husband got the cheddar beef and he loved it. Surprisingly, the highlight of the meal, for me, was the Lime Cilantro Coleslaw — super fresh, not overly creamy and so bright with that chili lime flavor. I wish I had ordered a bucket of that to bring back home. We’ll definitely come back when we make our way in that direction again. ”
